KWPN horses

Our breeding stable started in the dressage sport. We moved back from Germany with 2 horses to a farm with land. Geesje then bought a mare from a very good bloodline (Jerlia) with whom she succeeded in winning many competions. As she was also doing very well at breed shows and also obtained her certificates, we decided to breed with her. The idea was to breed Geesje's next competition horse.

Soon, Geesje found a second very talented mare (Ilona). With this mare Geesje has had a lot of fun and many wins in the Z2 level dressage, but Ilona had a very serious accident, which meant the mare could not compete anymore. However, Ilona also obtained her certificates at the breeding shows, and she now enjoys her retirement together with her friend Jerlia (Joy-Ride) and has bred several very interesting dressage horses.
Our hobby soon became larger than intended!

Joy-Ride (Jerlia) is from the famous Terlia line, and she has already brought many foals, of which several are already very successful in competitions.

Joy-Ride herself had many successes with Geesje in the Z2 dressage. Joy is enjoying her retirement and some years we bread a foal with her.

Geesje and Image (Ilona) were very successful combination in dressage competitions, but Image had a serious accident, which stopped us from competing in the dressage.

As she has a great pedigree, she is now enjoying retirement and brings us great foals! Several of Image's foals are now horses that are both used for breeding and competition.

Restless Raimond was bred here from our mare Joy-Ride (Jerlia) and has won many times with her rider, Loes Corsel. We were planning to continue to have her compete and move on to the higher levels, but, as this is the last mare out of my Joy-Ride (Jerlia, from the Terlia line) I decided to use her for breeding.

Vaya con Dios is a foal from our mare, Restless Raimond (father Casanova) and the great KWPN stallion Obelisk. Vaya con Dios was sold to England where she is competing in dressage competitions with great success.

Drambuie was bred from our mare Once Again (Freiherr X Uniform). Once Again (Hauptstutbuch) competed in the M2 level dressage, but died early due to illness.

Drambuie was sold and is doing very well in the Z1 dressage. She is ridden by her owner, Yvonne Hermes.

This young rider is being helped with her training by dressage and jumping stable De IJzeren Man" in Weert.
